Have a Fantastic Weekend!

What are you up to this weekend? Tomorrow my big sister, Cristina, and my brother-in-law, Josh, get into town from L.A. Cristina is actually responsible for setting Corey and I up, so we are both super excited to see each other and celebrate the engagement!! I seriously can't wait to see her. I hate that she lives so far away-- and now that I'm planning my wedding I hate it even more!

Sunday we are having our engagement party up at Corey's parent's house. We are having "bubbles and brunch" and will be celebrating with a casual party filled with mimosas, homemade biscotti and scones, and tons of other delicious food. I am so excited to have everyone in one place to celebrate! It's going to be a great weekend. Hope you have an amazing couple of days! Talk Monday :)

  2. I LOVE your blog and am headed to Portland tomorrow for the first time ever (my brother and his wife live there now). What shops and restaurants MUST I go to??

  3. Hope you had a great weekend!!!! I made homemade biscotti last year for christmas, I mean, what a treat, but homemade scones? now that just sounds like a slice of heaven.....

    Thank you so much! Here are some of my all-time favorites:

    Restaurants:
    Jake's Famous Crawfish (super nice seafood restaurant)

    Bridgeport Brewery (really fun brewery with amazing local beer and food!)

    Noble Rot (trendy wine bar... go here for a great view of Portland)

    Mother's (for breakfast. get the salmon hash, it's insanely good)

    St.Cupcake! Yum!

    As for shops:

    You can't miss Powell's Books (one of the biggest bookstores in the world)

    Mabel & Zora (cute & trendy local boutique)

    Frances May (cool indie/urban boutique)
