Yesterday was a wonderful day! I got amazing news that I received the promotion at work I had been going for! I am so, so happy and so ready for this change. I will no longer be a "copywriter by day", and while writing will always be a passion of mine, now is the perfect time for me to take on a new challenge.
Last night, I celebrated the good news with the mister, my mama and my in-laws. We went to my favorite dessert place, Papa Haydn (conveniently located about two blocks away from us!), to enjoy some cake and champagne. It was the perfect way to revel in the happy news.
{we cleaned that plate in about three minutes flat. yum!}
