Vacations to the south of Italy should be all about relaxation. We put it at the top of our list.
Our favorite way to relax in Positano was to rent lounge beds on the beach (10 EUR/each for the day - worth every penny!) and just lay in the sun for hours.
It didn't hurt that our view was the gorgeous cliffside hotels and residences of Positano - stunning!
We laid there for hours, only getting up to break for lunch.
There are a few cute and yummy places right in Spiaggia Grande (the beach), but on this day we decided we wanted to lunch with a view (so spoiled we are!), so we hiked up the hill 15 minutes or so to Cafe Positano.
It provided stunning views for a leisurely lunch.
Then we headed back down to our sunbeds that were waiting patiently for us.

Looks truly blissful! I love all the colours everywhere :) Your lounge chairs look incredible, what a perfect way to spend the day in Italy :)

ReplyDeleteGorgeous. Looks straight from a movie! Lounging with your honey all day only to break for lunch? Doesn't get much sweeter than that :)
ReplyDeleteyou HAVE to frame that one of corey sittig on the stairs... looks straight out of a magazine!
ReplyDeleteI second Nicole's comment! What a great shot! And those chairs next to the sea? Looks like the best idea ever! :)

ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Amazing pictures! Question, do you ever feel bad when it's just the two of you and you have to ask other people to take your pictures? I am surprised they do so well with your camera!
ReplyDeleteOmg these pictures are giving me serious wanderlust, I want to go back to Italy! The colors, the sunshine, your photos captured it perfectly...glad you guys had a great time :)
ReplyDeleteGoodness gracious it is beautiful here!
ReplyDeleteI agree, you definitely have to relax when you are there. It all looks so pretty, I wish I was back there now.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! You had like the supreme location lounge bed! Absolutely worth whatever you paid. I rented a similar type lounge bed twice while I was on my honeymoon in Maui last month. Its the perfect way to get in some rest while still enjoying the location. I hate the thought of taking a nap during the day in a hotel room while on vacation. But sometimes you need a nap, and what better place than an oceanside lounge bed!
ReplyDeleteSo fab! Dream of visiting one day - love all the colours!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Nicole. Those stair pictures are fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI just got back from Italy three days ago. I miss it so much. And your sandals are adorable.

ReplyDeleteHi Liz! We're moving from Portland to Eindhoven in July! I love your pictures and seeing where you are going while in Europe. I have one questions though, what do you do with Henry while you're on all these trips? Have you been anywhere where you thought later, damn--we should have brought our dog? Reason I'm asking is that we are bringing our 3 year old golden retriever with us! Thanks. Loey
ReplyDeleteOh my absolute dream vacation right here in your last several posts! Looks absolutely incredible and you captured it so beautifully through your lens.
